STUDY ABROAD APPROVAL DEADLINE: Determined by home campus


All application documents can be submitted electronically. Please be sure to check with your home institution about any additional forms and deadlines.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS FOR ACCEPTANCE TO THE PRESHCO PROGRAM

  • FALL AND ACADEMIC YEAR: March 10

  • SPRING: October 10

WEB FORM- The general application gives us demographic information about you. Please include at least one emergency contact, and if you do not have a passport or it's being renewed, please leave the passport section blank.


WEB FORM - The autobiographical sketch gives us a sense of who you are, your academic and non-academic interests, and your reason(s) for wanting to study in Spain. You have the option of completing this form in English, or challenge yourself and do it in Spanish!


WEB FORM - The language self-evaluation gives you the opportunity to tell us how you rate yourself in terms of your Spanish language abilities - written, spoken and listening.


SCAN AND EMAIL - Please scan and email to PRESHCO in colour or black and white. The copy must be legible and show the entire pages including numbers at the bottom. Expiration date must be later than six months after departure date from Spain.

Must show all college courses to date. Scanned versions are acceptable and should be sent to PRESHCO. If you attended another university or college, please provide this transcript as well.

Official or Unofficial Transcript


Please have professors complete the following documents

Send the academic reference form link to a professor who has had the opportunity to observe you best. This may not necessarily be from the class where you performed the best. You should not ask the same person doing your language evaluation.


Send a link of the Spanish language proficiency evaluation to your most recent Spanish language professor. If you have not taken Spanish in college, please contact the Spanish department at your university to see who would be the most appropriate person to fill it out.


After RECEIVING LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE please submit THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS BY:

  • FALL AND ACADEMIC YEAR: April 15

  • SPRING: OCTOBER 30

The housing application gives us valuable information that we use to place you in the most appropriate homestay family. Please complete the two forms.


Please complete the student medical history form.


If you are currently seeing a mental health professional, please have him or her fill out the Counseling and Mental Health Form. Send a scanned copy to PRESHCO, indicating in the subject line “CONFIDENTIAL”.


Please scan and email to PRESHCO in colour or black and white. The copy must be legible.

Photocopy of your Health Insurance Card


Please scan and email to PRESHCO in colour. The copy must be legible. Label the photo with your name.

ACADEMIC YEAR STUDENTS ONLY: Please apply for your FBI BACKGROUND CHECK. When you receive the document, send it to be certified with an APOSTILLE. The FBI Background Check and the Apostille must be translated to Spanish.
